The R72 to Hamburg Road officially opened

Eastern Cape Transport MEC, Xolile Nqatha, wrapped up his October Transport Month activities with the official opening of the R72 to Hamburg Road, upgraded from gravel to tar by the Department’s in-house team.

This marked the second road-opening in as many days, following Wednesday’s official opening of the 39km N2 to Sipetu Hospital Road, another gravel-to-tar upgrade.

Two roads, one shared commitment: improving access, connectivity and the lives of our communities.
